Can't print

Did you check /etc/printcap. Does your system have another printing system besides BSD.
Make sure you can print from the machine itself.  make sure the lpd is running
make sure you have the correct print filters or no print filters but have the drivers on windows machines.
This probably isn't a problem because you can't even print at all.
