Samba on SCO/ HELP

I need fast help, guys please....

Has anyone tried Samba 2.2.2 on Sco OpenServer 5.0.5?

I experienced all kinds of troubles, I read diferrent
mailing lists, there are people that were trying to
run different Samba versions but on diferent Unix
platforms, etc....

First I was stuck with GCC, now samba won't run at
all, have troubles with home directory and
smbpasswd...

Anybody out there in the same boat?
Any hints?
