winbind separator ignored in smb.conf

Try

winbind separator = "\"

You will only get a single '\' mark but it appears correctly in the getent
passwd output and the home directories made seem sane also.

(winbind separator = "\\" puts the double \\ after the domain, but screws up
the home directory list)
