Errors in /usr/bin/dmesg

Hello,
I seem to be getting a lot of errors, probably not really serious, but something that needs to be corrected.  Here is what I am seeing:

Oct 24 11:34:40 webprod last message repeated 38 times
Oct 24 11:34:41 webprod inetd[300]: netbios-ns/udp server failing (looping), service terminated
Oct 24 11:44:46 webprod inetd[300]: /opt/samba/bin/nmbd: Hangup
Oct 24 11:45:24 webprod last message repeated 38 times
Oct 24 11:45:25 webprod inetd[300]: netbios-ns/udp server failing (looping), service terminated
Oct 24 11:56:56 webprod inetd[300]: /opt/samba/bin/nmbd: Hangup
Oct 24 11:57:35 webprod last message repeated 38 times
Oct 24 11:57:36 webprod inetd[300]: netbios-ns/udp server failing (looping), service terminated

This repeats a LOT.  Can someone tell me what is happeing here, and what I should do to correct the situation?
