Hi everyone,
The following is the first page or so from a Samba log file which had
grown to some 9Gb in size!:

I had to delete the log file to free up space, as it had totally filled the
/ partition. The system is a RedHat 7.1 machine running Samba 2.0.10, and
serves as a file and print server. It also holds the Internet connection.

If anyone can throw some light on this situation for me, it would be highly
appreciated. I've been using Samba for almost a year now, in small
networks, and I've never seen such a ludicrously large log file! Thanx in
advance!
