Shares Disconnecting

Our system is tcp/ip based, aix 4.3.2, using samba 2.0.7.  We have a
varity of windows versions on our pc's.  Our problem is that once a user
is logged into the network and doesn't access a share it will disconnect
itself.  This has cause problems for files and printers.  I would like
to set samba up so it doesn't time out if the user isn't using a
resource once they have logged in.  Any help would be great.
