samba 2.2.1a- URGENT HELP NEEDED

Hi,

This locking error disappears after you make your first connection. Also,
you must make changes in the sample smb.conf, otherwise samba won't work.

Please read the documentation, there's a step-by-step procedure on how to
setup your server.
