Absolutely correct. They tell you that they need your banking account number
and routing info so that they can deposit money. Instead they will use the
info to empty your account. They should be reported. If the e-mail comes
from places like AOL or Yahoo, e-mail should be sent to abuse, including
a complete copy of the headers and body, so that the account can be closed
and the owners potentially reported to the FBI.
