net view

Hi Tia,
I'm just guessing, but it sounds like on your win98 box you have set your
primary login property in your network neighborhood properties to be
windows, instead of the network.

I'm trying to display the shares on my linux box using "net view 
\\myserver" from a Win98 machine. The message I get when running net 
view is "You must log on before performing this operation" My shares 
have guest access. Is this a clue for something else?
