Testparm reports the UNKNOWN file name.
However, the smb.conf was changed on the hard drive!
Right now, due to the worm fears, I don't let either of my windows clients save
things to my samba server. So, there is only a smb.conf.public.Samba file
which allows writing to this share.
I found out about this UNKNOWN problem when I couldn't save
anything to the share from my linux clients, either. I had to
reconfigure smb.conf and kill -1 my smbd before I could save things.
Honest.
And, I still don't know how that got changed in smb.conf.
