How to install Samba patches

Patches are against source archives, so if you don't have the source the patch
will do you no good.

I'd suggest that first up you grab the latest samba binaries for your
OS from http://samba.org/samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/ or a mirror closer to you.

The latest binarries should be for 2.2.1a

If the binaries aren't avilable for you OS then grab the full source for
2.2.1a at:
http://samba.org/samba/ftp/samba-latest.tar.gz

and follow the instrucations included.
