I want to thank everybody with helping me out with the host name problem I had. It turned out that when I copied /etc/hosts to /etc/host, everything worked fine. now have a problem with nmbd, it will not start. I have tried manually starting it, starting through inetd and thru rc, it just wont start. Can anyboy help Thanks Bob
