hiding a master browser..

Is it possible to "hide" a machine that is the master broser for a 
workgroup - ie not make it visible in the windows explorer list?

if the machine is not the master browser then it doesn't show up.

smbclient -L localhost
returns the machine in the list too.

browsable = no
is set in the global options.

Is this a protocol "feature" or a samba bug?
