hme0 is the ethernet interface. The system is an ultrasparc 5 running
solaris 7. The real problem was not having write permission from the pc.
I thought going through the diagnosis.txt tests and fixing the problems
would fix my real problem.
Running your tcpdump I get:
# /usr/local/sbin/tcpdump -i lo0 -n | grep 139
tcpdump: /dev/lo0: No such file or directory
Adding read only = no fixed the write problem from the pc. Thanks for
your assistance!
