A Machine SID is randomly generated the first time an smbd starts
up and there isn't one. If you want to force Samba 2.2.x to use
the same SID as a tng installation, delete the secrets.tdb, then
create a file called "MACHINE.SID" in the private/ directory (same
as the smbpasswd file is in) and paste in the SID as text into that
file.

When smbd is restarted it will intern the SID in the MACHINE.SID
file and use that. The MACHINE.SID file can then be deleted.
