win98printer+samba2.0.7

Knowing nothing about this printer:
On the windows server, do you see your hung print job in the print queue?
Are there any error messages in the queue?
Does this happen with other types of files besides just plain txt files?
Have your tried sending a postscript file? (I assume this is a postscript
printer.)
