Connecting to Samba from both Win2K and Win95

Anyone have a simple solution to this problem...

When my Solaris Samba is set up with 'encrypt passwords = yes', along with
running 'smbpasswd', I can get to my Samba disk from my Win2K machine
but I can't from my Win95 machine. If I get rid of the 'encrypt' then I can
get to
the disk from Win95 but I can't from Win2K. How do I access the Samba disk
from
both machines at the same time?
