I am getting the following from both of my win2k machines in the
/var/samba/log/log.%m.

[2001/11/09 08:21:39, 0] lib/util_sock.c:read_socket_data(478)
read_socket_data: recv failure for 4. Error = Connection reset by peer
[2001/11/09 08:21:39, 0] lib/util_sock.c:get_socket_addr(1038)
getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected
[2001/11/09 08:21:39, 0] lib/util_sock.c:get_socket_addr(1038)
getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected
[2001/11/09 08:30:09, 0] rpc_server/srv_netlog.c:api_net_sam_logon(208)
  api_net_sam_logon: Failed to marshall NET_R_SAM_LOGON.
[2001/11/09 08:30:09, 0] rpc_server/srv_pipe.c:api_rpcTNP(1204)
  api_rpcTNP: api_netlog_rpc: NET_SAMLOGON failed.

I don't seem to be having any trouble connecting to the domain or using
samba. Is this normal, or should something be done about it? I have no why
there are errors.

TIA

Steve Helder
