I have installed 3 servers with Linux kernel 2.2.14 and Samba 2.0.7. All three look like identical (excluding hardware). But when I call smbpasswd, two amswer Ok and third tells "Password invalid" for ALL new passwords. Please help: what is it or where to find answer what to do. 05.11.2001 Striganov.
