HI,
I installed samba (latest binary) on my ultra10/sol2.8 box.
It runs good. The samba path was the user "data" home direcotry path that i
created for user "data":

[data]
   comment = data area
   path=/home/data
   valid user = data
   public=no
   writable = yes
   printable=no
   create mask=0777

I had to change the path=/home/data to path=/opt/otherdata due to
different reasons. I still can map it on my pc but i see
each new map creates each new smbd (ps -ef|grep smbd).
is this natural?. can i do this?.
Sam
