SSL isn't that useful, and our fearless leader has had some words on the
matter: http://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35275

(RedHat 7.0 shipped --with-ssl).  The only other case for it is to use a
ssl-enabled smbclient and smbd, but there are probably much better ways
if you are in any way interested in security.
