Hi Jerry
I tried with the CVS version and tried connecting from a win95 PC to a winNT share
and it didn't give me any error.so hopefully this solves my account expired problem.
....further testing is onn...and will keep you updated
I don't know why it didn't work with the rpm version (samba-2.2.0-20010417.i386)
which i used earlier on my redhat 6.2
thanks
roy

Subject: Win9x clients accessing shares on NT/2k member servers
Sorry for the cross-posting....
I have seen a few reports of people who said that their win9x clients
could not access shares on Windows NT/2k members servers of a Samba
controlled domain. The specific error message was "This account is
expired" or something similar.
I have not been able to reproduce this with the latest SAMBA_2_2 source
code (no ./configure options). Can people who originally reported this
test the latest CVS code and let me know.
Here's a message for reference....
