Win2K Domain Logon Problem

Hi,
I`m trying to join a domain with Win2000 Server. But it doesn`t work.
Every time, after I enter my user and password to join the domain I get an 
error message by Network Identification: The following error occurred 
attempting to join the domain "SMB-TEST": The credentials supplied conflict 
with an existing set of credentials.
Well, I don`t know what this means, perhaps you could help me dealing with 
that problem
