I have samba set up as a time server and the time server work fine, it just will
NOT serve the correct time to my WinXX clients unless I set my Linux box system
clock to localtime. (I have been working on this problem for a while).

Anyway, to check to see if your time server is working on Win98 open a DOS
prompt window and do: NET TIME \\{SERVER NAME} /YES to check the time server
operation. Do: NET TIME \\{SERVER NAME} /SET /YES to actually set the Win98 box
system time.
