problem with lib/util_sock.c

Hmmm .. .unfortunatly I don't know any other advice to give you except
the fact that 4.1 is a little old. Consider cvsupping to 4.3, there have
been a lot of issues corrected in the 4.X line since 4.1, perhaps some
of them are network problems.
