Profiles ???

I've a bug with samba roaming profiles : They don't be saved in the specified directoy ???
My SMB.CONF :

[global]
netbios name = server
...
logon path = \\server\profiles\%U
...

[profiles]
comment = Windows User Profiles
path = /export/profiles
create mode = 0600
directory mode = 0770
browseable = yes
writeable = yes


Although my configuration seems to be correct, profiles always be saved in my HOME directory : /home/%U .
Why doesn't profiles move to /export/profiles/%users% (that directory exists and have : root drwxrwxrwx !)

Is it really a SAMBA bug or a Win9X bug ???
