something different.. backup and restore.

Hi,

I might have missed something, but how can I create a fail-safe backup
procedure?

We've got Samba 2.2.0 release (using it since alpha1) running fine, doing
PDC functionality for Win9x, NT, AND Windows2000 (SP1).

Is it enough to backup: smb.conf, /etc/smbpasswd, /etc/MACHINE.SID,
/etc/passwd ? Any other?

It seems normal to me that, in case of a system crash, we preserve the
'original' domain name and ("PDC") computer name to install on..
