SPARC Solaris2.7 binary .Z file

I downloaded the binaries under /samba/ftp/Binary_Packages/solaris/Sparc
subdirector.
The .Z file was samba-2.2.0-sparc-solaris2.7.pkg.Z.  When I tried to
uncompress the file
using "uncompress," I get a "corrupt input" message.  I think, maybe, the .Z
file is corrupt, 
because I had no problem with the samba-2.0.7-sparc... file.

Your attention to this is appreciated.
