installation help...

Hi,

     I've just downloaded samba-2.2.0 in tar.gz format. However, before finally installing it in my system -Slackware7.1- i would like to make sure that the configuration files smb.conf and the smbpasswd file would be in the /etc directory. And the binaries-testparm,smbclient,smbmount- in /bin directories. I tried ./configure --help and looked for the appropriate option, although i'm not sure which one should i use to achieve my desired setting.
