Passwd UNIX X SOLARIS_2.6

Good morning

I have in my net a Windows_2000_server and SOLARIS_2.6.
For me to create an user, I have firstly to create in the windows, later in the unix (solairs). 
After this, I have to register his/her password in the windows (01 time) and in the unix (02 times => command "passwd " and "smbpasswd ")
I would like to know if exists a form  easier to register this password only in a place and that it is updated automatically for the other ones.
