Hi james,
You CAN'T setup samba to be a BACKUP (secondary) Domain Controller. Maybe
someday...
The best you can do right now is to set up samba in security = domain, and
join the NT
domain as a MEMBER server.
Sorry,
Don

Dear Anyone,

How do you setup Samba to be a SECONDARY domain controller?
I do know that there are ways to set it up to be the primary; but, we are
using an NT box as a primary and the network administrator for our domain
does not want to make the NT box as a secondary. I just get tired of
trying to browse the network as someone is rebooting the server.

Thanks,
James Kosin
