> We are using Samba on a Sun Solaris system having

> Having recently upgraded a number of users from Office

> This was not allowed with Excel 97.
> We have not made any changes to the Samba

> Samba is the cause or some obscure feature of Excel
> Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution.
