File serving

Question: Is it possible for a user on an windoze machine running an
installer from a linux server? I would guess that you would have to dl the
file to the computer to run the .exe. Example would be installing Office
2000 on windoze machines from a RedHat box running Samba. I am assuming that
they will also be able to open docs from this box, read and save, as well.
Excuse me if this is a stupid question, just trying to cover my ass. Any
help / damnations is appreciated.
