Print Cue invisibility

I have Samba running as a print server for Windows NT Workstations.

It works fine, however, the print cue is invisible.  For example, if I
have several jobs waiting, clicking on the printer icon from the
workstation shows nothing.  In contrast, if I click on a printer icon
that relates to a printer running of a HP Jet Direct Print server, it
shows the status of all the jobs in the cue.

What configuration changes do I need to make for my samba print jobs to
appear in the cue?
