how to force multiple smbd's

Hi,
I would like to have a single smbd on my linux serve
each different share mounted from my windows machine. 
It appears that samba uses the same smbd for mounts
coming from the same client.  The thinking here is
that the more that 1 smbd will yield better
performance.


Does anyone know how to do this?  (if it's even
possible?)
