Re Samba installs, runs, but doesn't respond

Followup to previous message: The DIAGNOSIS.txt tests with "nmblookup"
seem to work fine, and I can see the samba server in "Network
Neighborhood.  But I can't get anything else to work - a "net view
\\BIGSERVER" doesn't work, nor does any attempt to connect to a share.
(I've set security=share, and public=yes on my test share).
