Your safest route is to compile/install and them copy your configuration
files. That way you don't miss anything...

Subject: installation migration

Is there a way to migrate an installation of Samba on Server A
to Server B where Samba is not installed?

Both are the same hardware/OS (Sun Solaris 5.8). It was
compiled/installed on Server A.

Do I have to compile/install it on Server B or can it be migrated?

TIA,

Daniel
