It would appear that you are using a non-standard version of Samba
(pre-3.0.0) rather than 2.0.7.  I'm afraid that you have to expect bugs or
incomplete features if you run an unreleased version like that.

Is there some reason that you aren't running the supported 2.0.7 release of
samba?
