In your smb.conf file, change(or add) the line "load printers=no"
(without the quotes of course), and also look for a share section
"[printers]", and comment it all out or remove it. Don't forget to
stop-start the smbd service after you edit the file.

Subject: a samba server without a printer entry

Hi !!

My question is very simple, so I hope I get an answere.

How can I create a samba server, without any printer service. I play
with all this setting in the smb.conf, but everytime I see the printer
entry on
an NT client.
But I want to create only a fileserver, no printer NOTHING !!!

Juergen
