Hello,
We're running Samba V2.0.5a on a Digital Unix(T64)4.0e. We're
having problems were a client (I assume) tries to make a connection
to our server and the load on the server sky rockets. We can't seem
to track down the client. In the samba log lists the following...
Failed to set socket option SO_KEEPALIVE (Error Invalid argument)
[2001/01/09 09:46:21, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(148)
Failed to set socket option TCP_NODELAY (Error Invalid argument)

[2001/01/09 09:46:22, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(595)
write_socket: Error writing 5 bytes to socket 5: ERRNO = Broken pipe
[2001/01/09 09:46:22, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(784)
Error writing 5 bytes to client. -1. Exiting
This happens around 3-4 times every SECOND. I can only assume
that it's a client that doesn't understand these options. Could
someone give me a clue as to what this means and, if possible how
to get more info about the client?
Thanks in advance.
