Help with Message: Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host

Hello to any great Samba people who can help !!

I get following message in both  log.smb and log.nmb when trying to start the daemons:
[2001/02/25 22:08:43, 0] lib/util_sock.c:open_socket_in(824)

Get_Hostbyname: Unknown host -a 

Any ideas?

I would love to get Samba working but I'm stumped on this.
I've run swat to setup the smb.conf file and can't seem to determine what's wrong.
