Samba Problems

Hello Juliano,
Looks like you have security=domain or server set up in
your smb.conf file, and it is expecting to find the 
SID file for your samba installation directly under the 
/etc directory.  Typically you would expect to find this
under /usr/local/samba/private subdirectory... although that 
is configurable at compile time as well as via an smb.conf 
parameter (it's kept in the same directory as the smbpasswd 
file, typically).
where is your smb.conf file located?  You might want to post
that, as well as how you are starting smbd.
How long had samba been up and running since you last started
it? 
Also, if you removed and reinstalled samba, then you are going
to need to check you smb.conf file to make sure your configuration
parameters are as you expect; and if you have security = domain,
you will need to follow the steps again to rejoin the domain
using the smbpasswd -j option.

I have a problem im my samba server, simply he stopped working.
I tried to restart the services, but the service SMBD didn't work more.
the content of file /var/log/samba/log.smb is:

ERROR: Samba cannot create a SAM SID.

I removed and I reinstalled the samba, but without success.
