Question On Remote access

Question on samba 2.07. I am running Solaris 2.7 with
NIS and I use the NIS for Password authentication,  I
am looking at setting up a RAS server using NT will it
be able to use the NIS server to verify the users?
Just let me know if any one has tried this.
