smbmount and accentuated chars problem

Use kernel 2.2.18 or 2.4.1, configure "default nls" for the system and for
smbfs. From what you wrote, smbfs should have codepage cp850, the default
nls should be iso8859-1.

smbmount only mounts smbfs, it is not involved in anything else.

This is known to work for most combinations, only known exception is one
report of norwegian chars not working (me being from Sweden has nothing to
do with that ... :) and some "funny chars" that are unicode only.
