Locking module...

[Samba]

Today i've compiled Samba 2.2.0-alpha2 on a Redhat 7.1b system.
When i start nmbd and smbd there are no messages displayed, when i run
smbstatus i get the following result:


Samba version 2.2.0-alpha2
Service     uid      gid      pid      machine
----------------------------------------------

Failed to open byte range locking database
ERROR: Failed to initialise locking database
Can't initialise locking module - exiting.


I've configured samba with; --with-lockdir=/var/lock/samba, and without!
Both fail.
