Hi There,
I got a response from David earlier, and he requested further details about my situation. I couldn't send him an email directly (sounds there's a prob delivering it to your email address). So, I'm sending this email back to anyone who knows what's going on.
============================================
I really appreciate your response that I needed badly David.
I cut and paste a snapshot of my smb.conf file. Also, the massage I'm getting
when I doublclick on the NetBios name is " left(NetBIOS name) is not
accessible. The computer or share name couldn't be found. Make sure you typed it
correctly and try again".....thats the massage I'm getting eventhough it
shows in my network nighbourhood. I'm trying to connect one machine at the
begining. I'm not using DHCP....all static addresses. Win95 user also a user on
your linux box. And, as far as I went, I setup the pcguest
account"Default" and also set the password in the smbpasswd file.
