nmb error 6

When I start nmb, I see the following messages in the log.nmb file:

Unable to find the Domain Master Browser name EVV1VLNXB4<1b> for the workgroup EVV1VLNXB4.
Unable to sync browse lists in this workgroup.                            



As a result, I can not get to the Samba server from Windows.  Does anyone know what this error 6 means?
