Still can't write to a Win98 share! PLEASE HELP!

I saw a little of this thread before, but can't say I followed it 
completely, so just ignore me if you haven't checked the following ...

I can see from your smb.conf that you've set all the lights to green on the 
Samba side, but what about the actual Linux directory and file permissions? 
Remember that Samba cannot grant any privilege not granted by Linux, so you 
have to make sure you have directory/file permissions at least as open as 
775 if everyone is part of the file/directory group, or 777 if you have 
public users who don't satisfy group membership.
