This could very well be due to the allocation size bugs in 2.2.2 we've
fixed in the SAMBA_2_2 CVS tree (soon to be 2.2.3).

Can you check out the SAMBA_2_2 CVS tree and re-test with this
code ? If it still fails, please get back to me asap as I'll want
to reproduce this test.
