[cups] print_job: Unsupported format 'application/octet-stream'!

Hello Family,

In attempting to print from Win2000 to RedHat-6.2 Linux
(Samba-2.2.2) using CUPS I received the following errors from 
/var/log/cups/error_log

'application/octet-stream'!

E [28/Dec/2001:19:23:49 +0800] print_job: Unsupported format
'application/octet-stream'! 

The printer is an Epson-777 that worked great without CUPS and
Samba, been hacking for hours just to get the printer to make a
noise.

I can print fine from the (host) Linux box using CUPS so I know the
setup is still good on the CUPS side.

Any help of course would be appreciated.
